WELCOME TO LAND PARK

Land Park is a charming Sacramento neighborhood centered on William Land Park. The neighborhood is located close to downtown Sacramento, as well as restaurants along Freeport Boulevard and plentiful nearby retail options.

Along with its verdant greenspace, William Land Park contains many attractions, including the Sacramento Zoo, a golf course, two children’s theme parks, and popular cafés and ice-cream parlors. There are a variety of other pocket parks and greenspaces dotted through Land Park and its subdivisions of South Land Park and South Land Park Hills.

Land Park has the atmosphere of a quiet country town, despite its convenient Sacramento location. It’s the sort of place where neighbors greet each other when taking the dog for a walk or taking a stroll along the attractive tree-lined streets. Downtown Sacramento is just a five-minute drive away, and many residents choose to commute by bike.

Residents of Land Park take great pride in their community. Many participate in the Land Park Volunteer Corps, which dedicates time to maintaining the neighborhood’s attractive bushes, ponds, and shrubbery. Various events promote a strong sense of community spirit, with local restaurants serving up delicious dishes for the Taste of Land Park event each summer, and some of the neighborhood’s nicest homes open their doors to the public for the Land Park Home Tour each September.

Excellent local public schools include Crocker-Riverside Elementary, California Middle, and McClatchy High Schools, as well as the outstanding private K–8 Holy Spirit and Brookfield schools.
